Brian Gordon MD
Dr. Brian Gordon completed his undergraduate training at Colgate University where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude with high honors in neuroscience. Dr. Gordon received his medical degree cum laude from the State University of New York Health Center at Syracuse where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his orthopedic residency in Syracuse with a special interest in spinal surgery under the guidance of Dr. Hansen Yuan, an internationally acclaimed spinal surgeon. Dr. Gordon completed his Spinal Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received advanced training in the treatment of complex spinal disorders. Dr. Gordon's practice focuses on adult degenerative lumbar and cervical conditions. He is trained in the placement of complex spinal instrumentation, interventional pain management procedures, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Gordon has a special interest in the conservative treatment of spinal disorders and is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Gordon is also an expert consultant for the Office of Professional Medical Conduct for the New York State Department of Health, and he is listed as one of "American's Top Surgeons" by the Consumers' Research Council of America.
