This short sentence signifies dramatic change in your life. Becoming a parent is an exciting experience. But how do expectant parents prepare for this lifetime challenge? St. Peter's Women's & Children's Services staff understand common concerns and are ready to help during this wonderful time. To ensure a truly special parenting experience, preparations begin early in pregnancy and continue well after a baby is born. St. Peter's offers a variety of community education programs to help promote a healthy pregnancy, prepare for the baby's birth, and get off to a good start on the road to parenting.
Whether this is your first pregnancy or another addition to the family, St. Peter's offers an educational program specifically designed to meet your needs. Take a look at the programs we offer and design your own individual education plan.

How To Register for Class - A Two Step Process
You must first pre-register by going to the St. Peter's Events Calendar. Select an event title and click "Find." Next, select a date from the list of available classes that will appear. When the details for this class appear, click the "Register Online" button at the bottom of the page. Completing the simple online registration form that appears will reserve a place in this class for you.

Once you have completed the pre-registration form online, see below for payment and cancellation guidelines or contact Women's & Children's Education at 525-1388 with any questions.
Forms of Payment: Personal check, money order or credit card, Blue Shield of Northeastern NY health insurance and Medicaid only.
Important Payment Information: Payment must be made within 15 days prior to the class date. This will secure your placement in the class. If payment is not made within 15 days of the class, your name will be removed from the class roster. Call Women's & Children's Education at 525-1388 for further information.
