Laboratory Services
St. Peter's Hospital Laboratory
Laboratory services are available at St. Peter's Hospital, 24-hours/day, seven-days/week, offering state-of-the-art, automated  laboratory instruments and technology. Ready to serve you are six board-certified pathologists and more than 200 staff members, including licensed medical technologists, cytologists, technicians and laboratory assistants.
Walk-in service is available at our six blood drawing centers. Our convenient home blood draw service is also available for home health nurses, home clients and other providers. In addition, water testing services are offered by our licensed environmental laboratory.
St. Peter's Hospital Laboratory joined forces with Bender Hygienic Laboratory in 1997 to offer health care consumers throughout the Capital Region an expanded range of laboratory services. St. Peter's Hospital Laboratory is fully licensed by the NYS Department of Health and certified by the Joint Commission and American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). It is our goal to provide a high level of quality, convenience and customer service for patients and their physicians.
