St. Peter's is a proud leader in providing community services here in the Capital Region. Our team of health care professionals offers work site programs to meet any company's needs here in the Capital Region. Our Center has also organized support groups in which patients share their experiences, concerns and personal perspectives with others who have similar health issues.
Free Screenings for Businesses, First Responders, Community Groups
St. Peter’s Hospital is pleased to provide free cardiovascular screenings to businesses, community groups, first responders and others throughout the Capital Region.
The screening program - SEFCU Cares about your Heart – is funded by a grant from SEFCU and staffed by the clinicians of St. Peter’s Hospital. The program is part of our continuing efforts to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease - the leading cause of death in New York state and the United States as a whole.
St. Peter’s can provide the following screenings:
- Lipid Profile (cholesterol)
- Glucose (diabetes)
- Pulmonary Function Testing (breathing)
- Blood pressure and heart rate
