Help Others by Volunteering at St. Peter's
Members of the community can join the St Peter's Hospital staff in a rewarding position as a volunteer. As a volunteer, you will become an integral part of the hospital, committed to delivering the highest quality of health care with the spirit of compassion.
St Peter's Hospital offers over 65 different positions for volunteers. Our volunteers assist at the information desks, in the gift and thrift shops, serve as greeters, patient aides and friendly visitors, serve as Eucharistic Ministers, and volunteer in many other departments throughout the hospital.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to learn new job skills, fill educational requirements, meet new people and feel good about helping others. We match people's interest and abilities to the needs of the hospital to ensure quality and satisfaction to both the volunteer and the hospital staff.
Volunteer schedules are flexible. We ask that adult volunteers commit to a minimum of 100 hours of service per year. These hours can be completed during daytime, evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the department. Positions also exist for high school students in our Junior Volunteer program.
